Down, down, down. There was nothing else to do, so Alice soon began talking again. 13

VERBOSE

"It is very hard to write these things down as I have a lot of trouble & work to do at the present time. & to write these things down I have to work my mind & thoughts & memory. So I hope you can understand clearly what I write down here."

There is something to be said about the unrelenting pursuit of SOMETHING one finds curious. We have all chased SOMETHING at one time or another. Perhaps we can name it; perhaps we can’t. Perhaps we can claim it; perhaps we can’t. Regardless, the hunt itself is an enthralling engagement. I myself became entangled in a pursuit of a certain aesthetic captivation. Like Alice’s encounter with a white rabbit, my curiosity was taken over; only it was by the whiteness of a different character. Instead of a rabbit-hole, I traversed the vacancy of a hollow, slip-cast figurine: a ceramic _____. And like Alice, I went down after it, never once considering how in the world to get out again.

Yes, I would say that a _____ holds my attention to a great degree.

Although… it would appear that it could also be any number of things…

Set UPON (prep) that curious place we call the shelf.
